እዚ ሕጂ ብሰንኪ ሓደ ሰብ ከም ድኻን ድሑርን ተቘጺሩ፡ ተሰዲዱ ኣብ ዘዝኣተወን ሃገራት፡ ብሕስረት ዚካላበት ዘሎ ሰራሕ ተኣምር ዝኾነ ኤርትራዊ ዜጋ፡ ኣብ 1942 ዓ.ም. ብኹሉ ምዕባለ ካብ ኣፍሪቃ ኣብ ቀዳማይ ደረጃ'ዩ ዚስራዕ ነይሩ፤ ክሳዕ ግዜ ህግደፍ ከኣ ክብሩን ሓበኑን ዓቂቡ ይነብር ነይሩ። ሎሚ ግን ብሰንኪ ኢሳያስ መስሓቕ ሃዛማት (ሸራፋት) ኮይኑ ተሪፉ ኣሎ!

     ካልኣይ ውግእ ዓለም ብዕለት 08/05/1945 ዓ.ም. ከም ዘብቕዐ'ዩ ዚፍለጥ። ኣብቲ እዋን መራሕቲ ሰለስተ ሃገራት፡ ማለት ቸርችል፡ ስታሊንን ትሩማንን ካብ 17 ሓምለ ክሳዕ 02 ነሓሰ 1945 ዓ.ም. ኣብ ሓንቲ ፖትስዳም እትብሃል ጀርመናዊት ከተማ ብምግባእ፡ ንቻይናን ፈረንሳን ሓዊሶም፡ ቤት ምኽሪ ናይ ሓሙሽቲአን ሃገራት ኪምስረት ተሰማምዑ። ካብ ሽዑ ጀሚረን ድማ እዘን ሓሙሽተ ሃገራት ክሳዕ ሎሚ ኣብ ውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ናይ ቀውፊ (ቪቶ) ስልጣን ሒዘን ኣለዋ። ሓንቲ ካብዘን ሓሙሽተ ኣባላት ከኣ ሻቡ ንኤርትራ ሃገርና ከመይ ጌራ ከም ዘዕነወታ ቀጺልና ክንርኢ ኢና፥

‘ ክብረት ይሃበልና፡ ሕሰም ኣይትርከቡ ’

ብምኽንያት ኣብ ልዕሊ ኣርባዕተ ካብ ቤተሰብና ማለት መሓመድ ኑር ትኩእ፡ ኣማል ኣሕመዲን፡ ኣማያ ትኩእ፡ ኣምና መሓመድ እድሪስ ዝወረደ ኣሰቃቒ ሓደጋ፡ ኣብቲ ዘዳለናዮ ቦታ ብዘይ ምስልካይ እናተመላለስኩም፡ በሽሓት ሓዘናን ጉድኣትናን ከተፍኩሱን ከተጸናንዑናን፡ “ኣጆኹም በርትዑ” ዝበልኩምና፡ ክቡራትን ክቡራንን ኣቦታትናን ኣዴታትናን፡ ኣሕዋትናን ኣሓትናን፡ ፈተውትናን መቕርብናን፡ ናይ መሓመድ ኑርን ኣማልን መሳርሕትን መቛርስትን፡ ናይ ኣማያ መዋእለ ህጻናት ኣለይትን መማህራንን፡ ኮታስ ኩሉኹም፡ ካብ ኣእምሮና ንሓዋሩ ዘይብረዝ ሓልዮትን ክብረትን ዝለገስኩምልና፡ ካብ ማዓሙቕ ልብና ዝመንጨወ ምስጋናና ተቐበሉ።

The absence of peace is the most important issue that is ruining the life of the Eritrean people:  Mass mobilization for Peace is timely

During the Eritrean focus meeting on Wednesday 21 June 2017, the danger of escalating hostility   between Eritrea and Djibouti as a result of the departure of Qatari peacekeepers was raised.  Tensions in the area have ran high since the departure of Qatari peacekeeping troops from the buffer zone last week. The seriousness of the situation is covered by Martin Plaut.

   The UN Security Council was so concerned that it has urged Djibouti and Eritrea to resolve their border dispute peacefully.  The discussion during EF meeting was centred on what Eritrea Focus can do to support the UN in its peace effort.  Eritrea Focus takes the UN move as very positive and timely and it believes it must be supported....Read more

This was due to the internal and external destabilizing factors related to ethnicity, tribalism, resource sharing, poverty, superpower rivalry, porous borders, and hegemonic desires. Let us keep Kenya and Uganda aside as they are more stable and affluent, and narrow the directly affected countries in the Horn into six: Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, the Republic of Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan. Eritrea: Lessons from previous ‘engagements’ with the regime.

It appears that there are new efforts to ‘engage’ or ‘re-engage’ with the Eritrean regime led by President Isaias Afwerki. Yet the international organisations attempting to do this appear to have learnt few lessons from the failure of previous attempts to mend fences with the Eritrean authorities.

     As I indicate below, the lessons the United Nations learned when they sent troops to patrol the Ethiopia – Eritrea border, and the EU’s later experience of attempting to provide aid, are particularly relevant.

Veteran of ELF Saleh- Aldin Abdela is speaking with voice of Eritrea about his experience with ELF. Saleh-Aldin joined the front in 1965 took a course in China with Harbegna Mesfun Hagos among others and with current president of Eritrea in Damascus. He was also school mate in grade three with P.I.A. Saleh was among the first Fedayn in Asmara.
