I am amazed, as many others, with the uneducated musings of some Eritreans on the comment section of www. awate.com, under the article USE: The United States of Eritrea, written by Ahmedin Osman and posted on November 28, 2016. The first most close-minded and unenlightened remark says, “Arabic has no root in Eritrea.” The second reads, “Muslims prefer their religion to national identity...” Is it enough to tell these folks: “Please do Eritrea a favour, and keep your mouths shut because Eritrea has enough problems to worry about?” Read more

14 ሚያዝያ፡ ወትሩ፡ ነቶም ካብ 1991 (ጽባሕ ናጽነት ኤርትራ)፡ ከካብ ገዝኦም ኮነ ብዝወኡዎ፡ ተጨውዮም ብስርዓት ህግደፍ ምስተወስዱ፡ ሃለዋቶም ክሳብ ሕጂ ዘይፍለጥ ኤርትራውያን፡ ንምዝካር በብዓመቱ ክትዝከር ጸኒሓ ኢያ። ሎሚ ዓመት፡ ካብ 24 መጋቢት ክሳብ 14 ሚያዝያ 2022፡ ብቕንያቱ፡ ዕለታዊ መደብ ዝኽሪን ምስክርነታትን ክካየደላ ቀንዩ ኣሎ።  On the occasion of Eritrean Detainees' Day, 14 April, a-three-week event has been held from March 24 to April 14, 2022. Testimonies of victim-families and acquaintances were given on these days. The testimonies of victims and acquaintances are extremely difficult and unbearable to hear; they have been extremely traumatised by the crimes committed on their loved ones. They have no clue on the the whereabouts of their disappeared loved ones.
